①形容詞轉(zhuǎn)換為漢語(yǔ)副詞

英語(yǔ)原文中說(shuō)明主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)或表語(yǔ)的形容詞。漢譯時(shí)有時(shí)轉(zhuǎn)換為副詞，用于修飾謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞或全句。此外，若某一英語(yǔ)名詞轉(zhuǎn)換為漢語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞，修飾該名詞的形容詞就要轉(zhuǎn)譯為副詞。

例十五：The usual duration of the disease is 3 to 10 days.

【說(shuō)明】usual轉(zhuǎn)換為漢語(yǔ)副詞“一般”。

【譯文】此病的病程一般為3?10天。

例十六： There is a theoretical risk of the emergence of resistance to both drugs.

【說(shuō)明】theoretical轉(zhuǎn)換為漢語(yǔ)副詞性短語(yǔ)“從理論上說(shuō)”，用來(lái)修飾全句。

【譯文】從理論上說(shuō)，有可能出現(xiàn)對(duì)這兩種藥物產(chǎn)生耐藥性的危險(xiǎn)。

②名詞轉(zhuǎn)換為漢語(yǔ)副詞

翻譯時(shí)，為了便于表達(dá)，有時(shí)可將英文的名詞轉(zhuǎn)譯為漢語(yǔ)的副詞。
