最后，我要感謝全體薩摩亞學(xué)員。你們的真誠(chéng)友善打動(dòng)了我們所有的人。在上周組裝縫紉機(jī)期間，當(dāng)?shù)貙W(xué)員為中國(guó)老師送來(lái)席子供他們中午休息，還送來(lái)水果、食物、礦泉水和冰淇淋等午餐。許多學(xué)員還幫助搬運(yùn)和組裝設(shè)備。上周，中國(guó)最大、最具影響力的國(guó)家電視臺(tái)——中央電視臺(tái)記者來(lái)到薩摩亞，他們用攝像機(jī)記錄下這些感人的場(chǎng)景。我相信，不久，億萬(wàn)中國(guó)觀(guān)眾將通過(guò)中央電視臺(tái)的紀(jì)錄片，看到薩摩亞人民的真誠(chéng)、友好、善良與熱情好客。

Last but not least, I would like to express our warm gratitude to all the organizers in the villages who have made detailed arrangements for the training program, as well as to all the villagers who have helped in all the preparation work. Some have brought the mats for their Chinese friends to take a short rest during noon time. Some have helped in carrying the equipment. Some have brought fruits, ice cream, mineral water and other food for their Chinese friends. The touching moments between Chinese and Samoan people were captured by a journalist team from China Central Television (CCTV), the biggest official television station in China. The special feature TV program will be scheduled to be broadcast both in China and in the world through CCTV's international channels, and billions of audience will be able to see the kind hearts and warm hospitality of Samoan people.

Ladies and gentlemen,

　　縫紉技術(shù)培訓(xùn)只是一個(gè)小項(xiàng)目，但它惠及當(dāng)?shù)卦S許多多的家庭。去年，培訓(xùn)結(jié)束后，我們將所有縫紉機(jī)捐給各個(gè)村。有的村將縫紉機(jī)集中起來(lái)，由參訓(xùn)學(xué)員再利用這些設(shè)備培訓(xùn)村里更多的婦女，使中國(guó)的知識(shí)技能惠及更多當(dāng)?shù)貗D女；有的村將縫紉機(jī)送給參訓(xùn)學(xué)員，讓學(xué)員利用這些設(shè)備做一些小生意。我們走訪(fǎng)了許多學(xué)員，看到這個(gè)培訓(xùn)實(shí)實(shí)在在地改善了學(xué)員的生活：有的學(xué)員找到了新工作，有的學(xué)員利用學(xué)到的技能為“白色星期天”（兒童節(jié)）的孩子們縫制新衣服，有的學(xué)員利用中國(guó)縫紉技術(shù)掙到了錢(qián)，正準(zhǔn)備修繕自己的房屋。

　　我衷心祝愿所有參加培訓(xùn)的學(xué)員充分利用這次難得的機(jī)會(huì)，通過(guò)你們勤勞的雙手改變你們的生活。

As proved by last year's practice, this sewing skills training program has been beneficiary not only to the participants, but also to many more other families in many more villages. Some villages have gathered all the sewing machines that have been donated by Chinese government in one place in the village so that all the villagers can have access to these sewing machines to sew clothes for family members for many festival occasions . Some villagers have taught other villagers how to sew. Some even have started to earn money with the sewing skills they have learned.

Finally I sincerely hope that all the participants of this program will take full advantage of this opportunity and learn the skills to make a better difference for the future.
